International Museum Day (IMD) Singapore Symposium 2026 was themed “Museums Uniting a Divided World”, spotlighting the role museums play as social spaces that help communities build meaningful relationships and connect through shared histories. Anchored on three programme pillars, Love, Conflict, and Unity, the symposium examined how relationships shape narratives, how communities endure and overcome differences, and how unity is upheld amidst diversity. In addition, the programme featured a Museum Roundtable 30th Anniversary dialogue exploring what lies ahead for museums in the next 30 years. The event day concluded with a Closing Party held at Fuk Tak Chi & The Amoy Hotel, bringing the community together after a full day of learning and exchange.

PurpleForest Events has been honoured to support NHB’s International Museum Day across multiple editions, including 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021.
