The 18th Asian Working Group on Environmental Education (AWGEE) Meeting 2026 brought together representatives from ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat and environmental education partners from across the region for two days of discussions, knowledge-sharing and collaboration on environmental education and public awareness initiatives. Hosted by the National Environment Agency, the meeting provided an important platform for delegates to exchange ideas, strengthen regional cooperation and advance collective efforts towards effective environmental education programmes within ASEAN. 

Held at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, the programme featured formal plenary sessions, opening remarks by representatives from Singapore and Viet Nam, the election of the AWGEE Vice-Chairperson, agenda deliberations and discussions on regional environmental education priorities. Delegates also participated in networking opportunities, official group photography sessions and a Welcome Dinner that celebrated the spirit of ASEAN collaboration and partnership.
