The 5th International Heads of Food Agencies Forum, hosted by Singapore, centered around the theme ‘Food Safety for a Resilient and Sustainable World.’ During this annual event, leaders from food agencies across 17 countries and 22 organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.N.’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the Codex Alimentarius Commission, convened to discuss critical issues. These topics included the intersection of climate change with food safety, climate resilience, sustainability, and regulatory frameworks for novel foods.

While some participating nations could not send a representative to attend in-person, PurpleForest Events provided livestream and technical support to allow them to actively participate in the meeting remotely.

The forum concluded with a sit-down dinner accompanied by classical music performed by the Vetta Quartet.
