The Singapore Sustainability Scholarship Award Ceremony 2026 celebrated the next generation of environmental leaders committed to advancing Singapore’s sustainability, climate resilience, water security, food safety and environmental stewardship efforts. 

Held against the backdrop of Singapore’s Year of Climate Adaptation, the ceremony recognised 16 young individuals who were awarded the Singapore Sustainability Scholarship, jointly offered by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), National Environment Agency (NEA), PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, and Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The event also included the presentation of certificates to 14 in-service scholarship recipients, acknowledging their continued commitment to public service and sustainability-related fields. 

The programme provided a meaningful platform to honour scholars who will go on to contribute to critical areas such as climate change adaptation, environmental sustainability, coastal protection, water resilience, food safety and food security. Through the ceremony, scholarship recipients, agency representatives, families and guests came together to mark an important milestone in Singapore’s ongoing sustainability journey.
