Its inception in 2002 was driven by the mission to commend and celebrate brands that have achieved effective development and management through strategic branding efforts. Over the years, SPBA has acknowledged more than 450 notable brands, including Rigel, ESCO, Yeo’s, BreadTalk, and LHN Group.

Evolving into a coveted distinction that local brand proprietors aspire to attain, SPBA remains a pivotal platform for companies with ambitions to establish themselves as prominent brand names within Singapore and expand their presence internationally. To address the ever-changing market landscape, SPBA has introduced five primary Award Categories: SPBA – Promising Brands, SPBA – Established Brands, SPBA – Heritage Brands, SPBA – Regional Brands, and SPBA – Special Merit.
