SENIOR EVENTS EXECUTIVE

We are looking for a High-Agency Senior Events Executive who wants to own outcomes, not just take tasks. At PurpleForest, you won’t just coordinate logistics; you will manage high-stakes government conferences, ministerial ceremonies, and national-level events where precision matters.

We operate by a simple philosophy: Mastering the details since 2011. If you are an experienced event professional who is tired of bureaucratic micromanagement and wants the autonomy to run projects end-to-end with uncompromising standards, this is your vehicle. You will act as a project owner, handling client relationships, financial scoping, and stakeholder alignment, while serving as a crucial anchor for our growing team.

  • End-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for small to medium-scale government conferences, international meetings, and ministerial events from proposal to post-event review.
  • Commercial & Strategic Execution: Translate complex client briefs into watertight budgets, timelines, and project plans. You own the numbers and the delivery.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate bottlenecks before they happen. When variables shift under pressure, you execute practical solutions calmly and decisively.
  • Team Calibration: Guide and support junior executives by modelling excellence. You don’t just instruct; you show what high-standard execution looks like.
  • 2–3+ years of core experience in MICE, conference, or corporate event management (government or association project experience is a strong advantage).
  • High Agency: You possess an internal locus of control. You don’t wait to be told what to fix; you spot a gap and take ownership of it.
  • Uncompromising Standards: You care deeply about the details, from a formatted proposal to a flawless venue transition.
  • Strong Written & Verbal Command: Exceptional English communication skills are non-negotiable for drafting high-level government proposals and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Discipline: You work well within a structured system and respect the processes that keep a high-performing boutique agency running smoothly.
  • Base Salary: SGD $3,800 – SGD $4,000
  • Real Autonomy: We offer a high-trust hybrid work environment, but flexibility is not a free pass. It is sustained through reliability, responsiveness, ownership and respect for team deadlines.
  • Career Acceleration: Work on ministerial portfolios that most agencies won’t trust you with until a decade into your career. Your resume will reflect top-tier execution.
  • True Work-Life Boundaries: A company-issued mobile line ensures your personal time and weekends remain yours, backed by professional responsiveness during active project windows.

ASSISTANT EVENTS MANAGER

We are looking for an Assistant Events Manager who is ready to step up as a pillar of our leadership and execution team. In this role, you will lead major government and institutional accounts, partner directly with leadership on commercial growth, and help drive our 15th-anniversary standards across every project we touch.

This is not a back-office management role. You will remain hands-on in the critical details while taking broader ownership of account retention, tender success, and team capability building. If you are steady under pressure and want a platform where your leadership directly shapes a growing boutique agency, you belong here.

  • Account Leadership: Own major client relationships from end to end. Translate complex government objectives into seamless, commercially sound event solutions.
  • Tender & Growth Partnership: Partner directly with the Director of Events on business development, strategic pitches, and government tender submissions that secure our project pipeline.
  • Operational Quality Control: Oversee medium to large-scale conferences and corporate events, ensuring every moving part aligns with our “uncompromising standards.”
  • Team Mentorship: Coach and calibrate Events Executives. Cultivate a culture of proactive problem-solving, adherence to SOPs, and mutual support.
  • Solid, proven experience managing large-scale conferences, corporate events, or government MICE projects with end-to-end accountability.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate vendor terms, and structure competitive proposals.
  • Decisive Leadership: A calm, authoritative presence under pressure. When plans shift or issues arise, you are the steady anchor the team relies on.
  • Process Discipline: A firm belief that creativity thrives inside robust operational structures and strict SOPs.
  • Strong Communication: Exceptional English command for drafting high-level government proposals and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Monthly Salary: From SGD $4,300 – $4,600 for Assistant Events Manager level candidates, commensurate with experience and leadership capability. Candidates with proven independent account ownership and Events Manager level capability may be considered up to $4,800, with title and compensation reviewed after a 6 month calibration period.
  • Performance Milestone & Growth Bonus: Following successful completion of your 6-month calibration, you will be eligible for a performance bonus structure tied to sustained project execution and overall group sales/account portfolio growth—rewarding your direct impact as the agency scales.
  • Annual Leave: 14 days, in addition to public holidays.
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 10.00am to 6.00pm. Weekend, public holiday, or extended hours apply only during event activations or peak project periods, with Off-in-Lieu provided for qualifying activations.
  • Staff Welfare: Taxi fares to and from event venues for early starts and late finishes, covered transport for urgent delivery runs, and dinner allowances for late overtime, ensuring event days never cost you out of pocket.
