The Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circles (IRCCs) first set up in 2002, celebrated their 20th Anniversary at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay. It was announced during the event that IRCC will rebrand to become Racial and Religious Harmony Circles (RHCC) and deepen their work of building trust understanding and confidence among the various communicates in times of crisis.

During the 20th Anniversary hybrid event, the Guest-of-Honour, Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth announced the upcoming plans, such that IRCCs can better meet challenges such as evolving societal attitudes, fault lines and the impact of social media.
